the applet runs locally, and your confidential data remains local.
ShareCalc
Due to the nature of applets, it is not possible to have an automatic update of the stock price, tax and current exchange rate. These have to be entered manually, when using the applet, and this is why the checkboxes have been disabled. However, check out the Java Application version or the Perl version of GreenSoft's ShareCalc.
If you wish to have a standard set of stock issues that is tailored to your holdings, then feel free to download to applet class (via ftp or http),
and use a modified of the example html page given below:
